612 Gait and Treatment Techniques in Pediatrics
Description
The purpose of this course is to assist the therapist in developing gait treatment skills. The course covers typical and several atypical gaits such as the crouched gait, and scissoring gait. Treatment options are discussed that address handling and facilitation, orthotics, serial casting, surgery and injections, partial weight bearing treadmill training, and assistive devices.

I always enjoy your courses- the material is concise & informative. As a contract therapist working on my own, I do not have the opportunity to consult with other therapists. The content of your courses helps refresh my knowledge as well as teaches me a few new skills. I thought this course was a great overview of pediatric gout- the handling/facilitation technique chart was great but it would have been nice if some case examples were included.
